When the Milwaukee Brewers completed the sweep over the Los Angeles Dodgers to earn a spot in the 2026 World Series, the radio call was truly fun.
Following the comeback victory to secure the four-game series victory in Los Angeles, broadcaster Jeff Levering tipped his cap to the late and longtime Milwaukee play-by-play announcer Bob Uecker. Right as Milwaukee clinched the victory, Levering delivered a line shouting that the "Brewers win the pennant. Oh my God! The Brewers win the pennant."

Those who follow baseball closely will recognize that this is nearly exactly what Uecker said while portraying Harry
Doyle in Major League (1989).
Uecker died in 2025, before he could see the Brewers return to the World Series for the first time since 1982. But it felt like he was in the building for the win thanks to Levering.
