Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is questionable for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys with the hamstring injury he suffered in the team's season opener.
After Flowers logged a limited practice Friday, head coach Jesse Minter expressed optimism in the speedy playmaker's potential to take the Maracanã Stadium field in Brazil, including him among the players with "a real opportunity" to help the team get back in the win column. But there's now doubt about Flowers playing.
Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Flowers will be a "true pre-game decision," and said the team doesn't sound as if it's counting on him playing. Considering reports of poor field conditions in Rio, it might be wise to keep him out.
Should Zay Flowers start in fantasy?
Flowers has an
excellent matchup against Dallas, but Schefter's report doesn't inspire confidence. With the Ravens playing in the late afternoon window, fantasy managers should consider pivoting now if they don't have another good option playing in that same window. For people wanting to wait it out, Rashod Bateman could be a good pickup.
