The news of the death of iconic country singer Dolly Parton stunned the world on Tuesday, and the reactions and tributes have continued streaming in. Singers like Miley Cyrus, Pitbull and Harry Styles have honored the "I Will Always Love You" singer in some way, and fans have turned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame into a shrine filled with notes, candles and photos.
Stella Parton, Dolly's little sister, shared a moving tribute to her official Instagram account on Thursday, saying, "My big sister Dolly got her wings this past Tuesday."
"My sister was one of the most generous, thoughtful and kind people I've ever known," Stella said of her sister. "What the world saw is exactly who she was, so much so, she recently told me that if there was no hope
for her, she would still allow her medical team to try experimental drugs in the hope of helping others in the future."
Dolly Parton was certainly one of a kind.
