Buffalo Sabres defenseman and captain Rasmus Dahlin was having a solid game on Monday afternoon against the Florida Panthers with a goal, but disaster may have struck with him leaving the contest in the second period.
Fans are mystified as to what exactly happened, though some are speculating that something got tweaked after a shot he took on the power play in the second period. But we don't know for sure. What we do know is he got ruled out by the team "due to an upper body injury."
We'll update this when we know more, and hopefully for Sabres fans it's not a serious injury.
