MLB's Field of Dreams Game returns on Thursday night after a few year hiatus, this time with the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins taking the iconic stage amidst the corn fields.
In 2021 and 2022, MLB held two games in Dyersville, Iowa in honor of the iconic baseball movie Field of Dreams. The Field of Dreams Game has been on hiatus since then to complete renovations to the stadium. Now, in 2026, Netflix holds the reins as the third edition of MLB's Field of Dreams Game comes to fruition.
With Netflix taking over the broadcast, what can fans expect in terms of announcers for the visually iconic game? If you watched the Home Run Derby earlier in the summer, you'll recognize Matt Vasgersian, CC Sabathia, Hunter Pence and Elle Duncan's voices
as they all pitch in for the broadcast, with Vasgersian as the lead play-by-play announcer.
Netflix also has Barry Bonds, Albert Pujols and Anthony Rizzo on tap as well, with Lauren Shehadi working as the on-field reporter for the game. And as a special guest, Field of Dreams star Kevin Costner will be around for the pregame proceedings as well.
