The Packers were humbled in a big way during Thursday night's blowout loss to the then-winless Falcons. And as the game was unfolding the Thursday Night Football broadcast made it a point to showcase the absolute frustration permeating throughout Lambeau Field.
The boos were audible throughout the night, and Packers tight end Tucker Kraft clearly took notice. It simply wasn't the kind of reception the Packers are used to getting at Lambeau — even during losses.
Kraft criticized the fan response after the game, saying that the boos were "not going to help" the team win. He painted Packers fans as being above booing the home team, which obviously wasn't the case on Thursday.

With a full weekend to reflect on his comments, Kraft took a different approach with reporters on Monday. He said via Pro Football Talk:
“I’m not gonna add anymore to the booing. You know, in hindsight, we were out there on the field not doing the greatest. You know, we’re out there, busting our tails, trying to make every play come to life, one play at a time. That’s our mindset. I understand a lot of people spent time and resources to be there at the game. Wish it would have been a better outcome. Everyone in the locker room wished it would have been a better outcome. Like I said, when I was referring in the past to disappointment, I’m talking about from the day overall, not just from the fans. Obviously, the fans are out there, and Christian [Watson] put it the best, like, this is an entertainment business. We gotta go out there and put a better product on display. So, you know, people are happier when they’re heading to their cars after the game.”
The Packers do have the benefit now of a long week, and they'll be facing undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels who is starting in place of injured Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield on Sunday.
