Megan Thee Stallion and now-Miami Heat vet Klay Thompson had what felt like a lightning-quick romance that we all watched unfold on social media. And then? It was over, with the rapper making a statement on social media earlier this year about the relationship ending.
Now, in an InStyle cover story, she has a lot more to say about what happened. She starting off by saying "I feel like I’ve been put through the washing machine and the dryer with tins, shovels, and a cactus.”
Then, there was more on the breakup: “It was very rough," she told the magazine. "How do I want to say this gently? What’s meant for you is always going to work out. And if something is constantly making you feel uncomfortable, just on edge all the time, you probably are not
supposed to be there. God will always make you uncomfortable when something is not meant for you. I think I just kept trying to make pieces fit that didn’t belong, trying to fit myself into someone else’s life. I was losing myself a little bit. I am now in the space of finding me again.”
She went on to say that "whoever" dates her will know that she's her "own person" and "her own boss."
