Future Hall of Fame defensive tackle Aaron Donald isn't currently on an NFL roster, but many expect that to change soon.
Donald, who is regarded as one of the best interior defensive linemen of all time, is reportedly mulling a professional football comeback. Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported thatDonald is expected to make a decision sometime this week, and all signs indicate that he would join the Rams if he does indeed return after working out with his former team on Sunday.
While we don't know for sure which way the 35-year-old is leaning, the betting odds may give us a strong clue. In the latest odds for NFL Comeback Player of the Year from FanDuel and DraftKings, Donald has the fourth-best odds despite currently being a free agent
and giving no public indication that he plans to return.

The only players with better odds are Patrick Mahomes, Jayden Daniels and Kyler Murray, who all suffered season-ending injuries in 2025.
Donald played his entire 10-year career with the Rams. He was a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and an eight-time First-Team All-Pro selection.
After an early retirement while still highly productive — he totaled eight sacks in his final season in 2023 — Donald could be poised to become a major addition for a Los Angeles front seven that already acquired superstar Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns this offseason.
