Morning anchors for KWGN Denver happily improvised Thursday when a wolf entered the frame as they were showing live footage of the wintry landscape.
"We see a wolf in our live cam out in Gardner, Colorado… I am starstruck," Spencer Thomas exclaimed during the CW2 Daybreak broadcast.
After the wolf pawed the fresh snow and paused before the camera, Ken Clark added, "Wow, that’s fantastic!"

The Instagram version is posted below with a description that reads, in part: "We didn't have 'wolf walks into live shot' on our bingo card this morning on CW2 Daybreak but WOW are we thankful!"
The Facebook reel contains video text of the team’s remarks as the wolf rolls in snow and acts
like a playful dog.
As the anchors soon learned, the footage was captured at Mission: Wolf, a 550-acre wildlife sanctuary in Gardner.
