Monday Night Football was an unmitigated disaster for the New York Giants. The Los Angeles Rams steamrolled the G-Men 28-6 in Aaron Donald's return, Malik Nabers suffered a shoulder injury and Jaxson Dart went down with a possible season-ending knee injury.
Nabers was able to return to the game but didn't help fantasy football managers, finishing with one catch for a single yard. The former LSU star has been a headache to roster thus far, as his availability for the season opener was a mystery until pregame warmups. For what it's worth, Nabers seems to be getting more confident in his knee after tearing his ACL and meniscus a season ago.
With Dart seemingly out for the rest of the fantasy football season and Jameis Winston looking shaky in his
place, concern over Nabers' 2026 outlook is peaking. Here's why it's overblown.
Malik Nabers is a huge buy low
If healthy, and that's a big if, Nabers is one of the most productive receivers in football. He tallied 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie, and that came with a QB combination of Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito. Winston is, at worst, a slight downgrade, even if he looked rough against Los Angeles.

Historically, Winston has proven he inflates the value of whatever WR1 he's playing with, from Mike Evans with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Jerry Jeudy on the Cleveland Browns. With a full week of prep, Winston will look far better than he did against the Rams, and he'll make Nabers a top-12 player at his position. Trade for Nabers while you still can.
