NBC Sports broadcaster Cris Collinsworth unintentionally gave New England Patriots wide receiver Romeo Doubs an unfortunate nickname during Wednesday night's season opener against the hosting Seattle Seahawks.
After Doubs dropped a critical pass from Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Collinsworth accidentally called Doubs "Romeo Drops" before quickly correcting himself. However, the error lingered far after the commentary was done.
Doubs is a good football player, but dropping such a huge pass like this in your first game with a new team doesn't set you up for public support. Collinsworth accidentally giving you such a tough nickname won't help the next time a drop bubbles up. We imagine Doubs will be hitting the jugs machine sooner than later
to shore up his hands.

The best way for him to avoid being "Romeo Drops" is to not drop passes, simple as that.
