The Las Vegas Raiders actually suspended quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive end Maxx Crosby from Saturday's practice for a violation of team rules following their Friday scuffle.
The two got into a tiff during the training camp session after Crosby made contact Cousins twice when he was not supposed to do so. Rather than letting it slide, Kubiak reprimanded them both instead.
“We have very clear expectations on how we want to practice and how we want to go about our business, and we violated that yesterday," Kubiak told reporters on Saturday, per ESPN's Ryan McFadden.
We get Kubiak wanting to be strict during his first year as a head coach as he implements a new culture with the Raiders. However, particularly with Crosby's previous desire to be traded,
we wonder how this may go for the vets.

Cousins and Crosby should have just been able to work things out between themselves; suspending them from Saturday's practice is the kind of move that could either reinforce culture or backfire with locker room respect.
We're not sure how the Raiders will take this, but it's an interesting move regardless.
Did Fernando Mendoza take first-team reps?

Overall, Mendoza looked solid with the 1s. He had a couple of off target throws and he had issues with the snap twice.
