If you're attempting to log on to Twitch on Thursday, Aug. 27 2026, you may have had some trouble and are wondering if it's just you or if everyone else is having issues.
The answer: It's not just you.
Per Down Detector, there are a bunch of folks having issues with Twitch on Thursday afternoon. And there's an update from the Twitch status pagewith a "major outage" on the web: "We have received reports of impacted services. This could manifest in chat not working, login difficulties, search impaired, etc. We're looking into the issue."
We'll update this post when we know more or if it's been repaired. Stay tuned.
Was Twitch down because of the GTA 6 trailer dropping?
No official word on that, but we do know A LOT of people are very excitedabout the new trailer dropping.
