If you noticed Tom Brady being atypically silent during a stretch of the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams broadcast on Sunday, there's actually a good reason for it.
The GOAT quarterback and Fox Sports analyst took to the airwaves to explain the audio issue. And it turns out... it was his own fault.
"I have this big clunky board which I have all this information about what I want to say all day, and I dropped it on the talkback button," he said. "And I'm sitting here going, ‘God, I can't hear anyone. You guys!' And it's my fault the whole time!”
The talkback button -- in case you weren't aware -- is one you press while on air to talk back to your producers or others working the broadcast, and it mutes the audio on air.
Now that's a QB owning
up to his mistake 😂 @TomBrady pic.twitter.com/wUt5Zagrpz
