Although Sunday's rivalry matchup with the Green Bay Packers didn't go as planned for the Chicago Bears, there are still plenty of reasons for Ben Johnson and company to be optimistic as they gear up for Week 6. Although a tough road matchup with the Atlanta Falcons awaits, uncertainty at quarterback may finally be coming to an end.
With starting quarterback Caleb Williams pushing hard to return to the field, it sounds like the Bears' 31-7 road loss to the Packers may be the last game he's missed due to his hamstring injury. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport joined GMFB Live and gave a significant update on Williams' Week 6 status.
"The fact that Caleb Williams was working out before the game, in a pretty strenuous workout, looking pretty good,
looking like himself. He looked like Caleb Williams ... this is a very, very good sign..." Rapoport said.
"He was working out hard before the game, and he returned to practice the Friday before. All signs point to Caleb Williams being back on the field this week for Chicago."
