Jameson Williams entered 2026 with massive hype after emerging as a 1,000-yard receiver each of the last two seasons. Buzz out of Detroit suggested he was going to be a more complete player in his fifth year, but we're still seeing an issue he struggled with in the recent past.
In the Week 1 win over the New Orleans Saints, Williams had four catches for 45 yards. He could've had a much more productive day but dropped two passes, including one deep ball. It's not the greatest sign considering his hands were inconsistent in 2025.

Goff's primary deep threat, Williams has a chance to feast. Williams probably isn't the most dependable player on your team, but you drafted him for the upside of his spike weeks. This is one of them. Don't miss your window because Week 1 was disappointing.
