In the first Sunday Night Football matchup of the season, we'll be treated to an NFC East duel at the Meadowlands.
The New York Giants are hoping to take a step forward with a healthy Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers, and they'll start with a matchup against a Dallas Cowboys squad that missed the playoffs with a 7-9-1 finish in the first season under coach Brian Schottenheimer. New York, meanwhile, is led by Super Bowl-winning former Ravens coach John Harbaugh.
If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we've got you covered. Here are the latest odds, courtesy of FanDuel.

Giants vs. Cowboys injury report:

Giants vs. Cowboys prediction, pick:
Nabers remains questionable as he tries to make his return from a season-ending knee injury in 2025, but a pair of additions
could help pick up the slack in New York's passing game as they brought in receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Isaiah Likely. Tenth overall pick Francis Mauigoa should also prove helpful along the offensive line, while the defense added a few impact veterans like linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.
Dallas returns much of its high-powered offense from a year ago, but like New York, its defense was a limiting factor last season. It added quite a few free agents on that side of the ball to try to improve things.
I don't love picking road favorites in the NFL, but the Giants' track record in primetime divisional games paired with my skepticism about this offense makes me lean toward Dallas.
Prediction: Cowboys 31, Giants 24
Best Bet: Cowboys -3, Over 48.5
