The Florida Panthers' injury woes continued Tuesday night after Aleksander Barkov got hurt earlier this season. Add veteran forward Brad Marchand to the list after what happened in the win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Marchand got hit with a Brandt Clarke high stick and fell to the ice as he was coming to the net, and it was then that he appeared to hit the post with his body. He was seen grabbing at his left knee and was helped off the ice by a pair of Panthers teammates as he couldn't put any weight on that knee.
There was no update after the game on his status from head coach Paul Maurice as of publishing this, and we'll update it when we know more.

The Panthers will hold their collective breath about Marchand and hope that it's not anything major. The 38-year-old Marchand had 27 goals and 54 points in 52 games last season, so he'd be a big loss for this Panthers team that lost Barkov for what could be a couple of months.
