Kaelon Black was a surprise high-usage player in the San Francisco 49ers' Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Rams, carrying the ball a team-high 14 times for 65 yards and tying Christian McCaffrey with 15 total touches in the game.
However, a groin injury has him carrying a questionable injury designation ahead of the team's Week 2 game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, which could again feature the backup running back with the Niners as 13.5-point favorites on the spread.
If the game does turn into a blowout, Black should be available to take those late-game carries in McCaffrey's place. He's expected to play, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning.

Should I start Kaelon Black in fantasy?
No. Even at full health, Black is a risky fantasy play as Christian McCaffrey's backup. With the groin injury potentially limiting his effectiveness, or even his snap count, I would consider other options if available.
