New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo had the saddest response to losing quarterback Jaxson Dart for the rest of the regular season with his knee injury.
With Dart slated to be sidelined for the rest of the regular season (with a playoff return technically possible), Skattebo called Dart his "best friend" and said that it's been an "emotional" process to lose him on the field, per SNY Giants.
While Dart should be healthy for 2027, it's still tough for the Giants after such a dominant Week 1 performance against the Dallas Cowboys. It feels like the vibes have shifted aggressively for New York in the wrong direction.
However, a healthy Skattebo should at least give Giants fans some excitement on the ground.

Hopefully for Giants fans, Dart and Skattebo will be back in action together next fall.
