What is the story about?
The late, great Bob Uecker wasn't around to see the Milwaukee Brewers win their first World Series after Mr. Baseball died in 2025. But he was certainly there in spirit, to say the least.
Throughout the 2026 World Series run, manager Pat Murphy has been paying tribute to Uecker in his speeches to the team. The team's radio announcer has paid tribute to him too
. And Christian Yelich spoke so much about him after Wednesday night's win.And we need to add in this heartfelt tribute from Fox, which put Uecker's voice over the highlights of the World Series run, just to give Brewers fans a taste of what it might have been like to have him call it.
Perfect. No notes.
