What happened to Deshaun Watson? Injury update for Browns QB
Deshaun Watson had been such an albatross around the Cleveland Browns' neck that beingthe NFL's 21st-best quarterback marked a shocking turnaround. The Browns traded three first round picks (and more) to acquire Watson, who had been accused of more than 20 counts of sexual misconduct and what an NFL investigation called "predatory behavior" dating to his time as a Houston Texan. Cleveland gave him an unprecedented, fully guaranteed $230 million contract extension just to see him miss time due to suspensions and injury and play thoroughly gruesome football in the rare moments he was healthy.
Week 8 marked a return to the injury report. Watson was sacked on his first dropback against the Pittsburgh
Steelers. On the second, he was hit high by a blitzing Jaquan Brisker, sending him to the blue injury tent.
