What is the story about?

The New York Giants had a nightmare start to Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Rams. On the first offensive series of the game, quarterback Jaxson Dart left due to a knee injury sustained after being hit by two Rams players. Then in the last minute of the first quarter, Malik Nabers was injured after failing to take in a Jameis Winston pass in a bizarre sequence.

Nabers and a Rams defender were tied up with one another as Winston threw the pass and the young wide receiver was unable to bring in the ball. As the play ended, Nabers went off to the Giants sideline holding his right arm before slumping to the ground in pain.

Though initially Nabers was ruled questionable to return with a shoulder injury, he did end up coming back into the

game for the Giants in the second quarter, but the entire sequence of his injury was certainly an interesting one.

Malik Nabers left the game with an apparent right shoulder injury after this play.
