As the decorations changes from Halloween to Thanksgiving, it's time to take a look at what movie offerings we have coming up. October saw a video game franchise rebooted with Street Fighter, a massively popular book adapted for the screen in Verity, a Jane Austen novel brought back to life with Sense & Sensibility and a swimmer trapped in a whale with Whalefall.
This month, moviegoers have a variety of options at their disposal. There's a sequel to Godzilla Minus One coming up, as well as a new heist thriller directed by David Leitch and a Hunger Games prequel.
Here are the movies (and one bonus thing) we are excited to see in November.
Godzilla Minus Zero (November 6)
Never has a Godzilla sequel been more anticipated. Godzilla Minus One scored a 99% from critics and a 98% from audiences,
so expectations will be high.
How to Rob a Bank (November 13)
Nicholas Hoult, John C. Reilly, Zoë Kravitz, Christian Slater and Anna Sawai star in this heist flick, and it's got an interesting commentary on society.
GTA 6 (November 19)
Ok, technically not a movie, but we've waited a long time for this to drop.
I Play Rocky (November 20)
A look at the true story behind how Sylvester Stallone wrote and ended up starring in Rocky. With Anthony Ippolito as young Sly, I Play Rocky is a heartfelt movie that is also surprisingly funny.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (November 20)
This prequel tells the story of young Haymitch Abernathy at the 50th reaping. Stars McKenna Grace, Joseph Zada, Glenn Close, Jesse Plemons and Ralph Fiennes. Will also feature the return of Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and Josh Hutcherson.
