The Emmy Awards took place Monday night, highlighting the very best of television from the past year. It was a big night for Apple TV's Widow's Bay as the horror-comedy picked up awards in all of the major categories, but the ceremony also had its emotional beats.
Actor Michael J. Fox was honored with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for his work with the Michael J. Fox Foundation that is looking for a cure for Parkinson's. They also paid tribute to one of the most iconic singers and actresses in Dolly Parton.
Parton passed on August 25 at the age of 80, and her Steel Magnolias co-star Sally Field spoke about her longtime friend before country singer Reba McEntire came out on stage to sing one of Parton's classics with "Appalachian Memories."
