Tyreek Hill was last seen on an NFL field with the Miami Dolphins, dealing with a devastating knee injury that ended his 2025 season. He's now a free agent, and there's been some buzz that the speedy veteran could be on his way back.
Where's that buzz coming from? That would be... Hill himself. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week that "It’s almost time to get off the couch and get to work." A bit cryptic, but perhaps the Bat Signal to NFL teams desperate for a wideout to give his agent a call?
If that was the case, here are some landing spots that would make sense for the receiver:
Kansas City Chiefs
A reunion for the former Chiefs receiver makes sense on multiple levels -- Andy Reid knows how to work with him, the Chiefs have room for another wideout
behind Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, and another field stretcher would upgrade the Chiefs' passing attack.
San Francisco 49ers
Mike Evans is already banged up. Deebo Samuel has played well but he's getting up there. George Kittle is turning back the clock. Wouldn't Kyle Shanahan love to have another receiver in the fold as the Niners await the return of De'Zhaun Stribling?
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers need SOMETHING to get the offense going. Quentin Johnston is struggling, along with... well, everyone offensively for the Bolts. So Mike McDaniel could work his former Dolphins star into the mix.
New England Patriots
Another desperate team with a wideout room that's struggling until A.J. Brown comes back.
Baltimore Ravens
They need one more receiver behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. This might be the most fun landing spot for Hill if it happens.
