The sixth season of the Emmy-award winning Apple TV series Slow Horses is releasing soon, and fans got their first look at all the action with a trailer on Tuesday morning. Slow Horses follows a collection of reject MI-5 agents that work under Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) as they navigate the world of spies and deception.
Jack Lowden and Kristin Scott Thomas also star in the witty drama, but there's another familiar face that fans might be surprised to see for Season 6.
In the official trailer, you learn that someone is killing off spies that used to work at Slough House, the Lamb-led division. To protect themselves, they have to gather all the current and former agents -- including Louisa Guy (Rosalind Eleazar) -- and a character that we all thought
had been killed all the way back in Season 1.
"Oh come on, we're spies," Oldman's Lamb says in the trailer. "We've all faked our deaths at one time or another." It then cuts to River Cartwright (Lowden) looking up a set of stairs at none other than Olivia Cooke's Sid Baker, someone long presumed dead.

The sixth season of Slow Horses will be available for streaming on Apple TV starting September 16.
