Pope Leo's favorite team is in the MLB playoffs: The Chicago White Sox -- whose 2005 World Series game he attendedwhen he was known as Cardinal Robert Prevost -- are back in the postseason along with their neighbors on the North Side.
And the pope has now weighed in, per NBC News: He was asked by a reporter if he had anything to do with what some are calling the "miracle" of the White Sox making the playoffs so soon after losing 121 games.
His reply was what you'd expect, perhaps: He dodged the miracle talk with a "no comment," and then added this: ”Great things happen in Chicago.”

No word on whether he'd come back to the Windy City
