Ridley Scott is back in theaters this week with The Dog Stars. The movie is an adaptation of a book with the same name, starring Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong and Ewen Bremner.
The story follows a pilot named Hig (Elordi) and his dog as they navigate the world following a flu that wiped out the majority of the population. The remaining people must deal with Reapers, scavengers that are trying to kill survivors. When Hig receives a mysterious transmission, he has to go on a journey to figure out what's going on.
