New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart taunted one of his teammates during a Tuesday training camp session by throwing a football at his helmet.
Per New York Daily News' Pat Leonard, Dart scored a rushing touchdown during Tuesday's practice and then threw the football at Giants cornerback Greg Newosme's helmet. Leonard added that Newsome "did not appreciate it."
According to new Giants coach John Harbaugh, he just decided to give the play the 15-yard penalty it would likely get in a real-life game and moved on with the day's activities. He also said Dart shouldn't need him to say anything about it because he's surely aware of what this would warrant from the refs in an actual game, per Leonard.
"Do you think I need to say anything in that case?
It's pretty clear cut," Harbaugh said, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
We're sure Dart and Newsome will patch things up off the field, but what a feisty moment for Giants summer camp.
