Thursday Night Football is here in Week 4 of 2026, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing off against their AFC North rivals in the Cleveland Browns. And if you're setting your fantasy football lineup, you might wonder: Should you start or sit Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf.
Now, we know that every start/sit situation is different depending on your team, but we'll try to address how to view Metcalf. He's seen a bunch of targets -- 24 in three games -- but only has 11 catches for 98 yards and one score. This week, he's facing a Browns team that's given up 224 yards per game, around the middle of the league.
But I can't shake how much Aaron Rodgers is spreading the ball out and trying to keep things safe in the passing game. Roman Wilson had a good
game last week, Michael Pittman is still around and a running back in Jaylen Warren who catches a ton of passes.
There's also this:
Most drops this season among wide receivers:
— Ian Hartitz (@Ihartitz) September 30, 2026
-DK Metcalf (3)
-Christian Watson (3)
-Matthew Golden (3)
So I'm going to declare that you probably keep Metcalf on the bench for this week and find some other options out there. He's still should be very much be on your roster, but on your bench this week. VERDICT: SIT HIM
