It appears not many are safe amid the Indianapolis Colts' fire sale, even the recently extended quarterback. Daniel Jones, who's struggling mightily after signing a two-year, $88 million extension, is being discussed in trade talks, according to ESPN.
The Colts are listening to offers but are reportedly content with keeping Jones if they don't find a deal they deem fair. Jones' dismal play could limit the return, however.
With his mobility diminished following a torn Achilles last season, Jones has looked like a shell of his best self, as his nine interceptions and 22 sacks taken are among the most in the NFL. Just last week, the 29-year-old tossed an awful pick-six in a 42-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With Indianapolis potentially turning back to former top-five pick Anthony Richardson soon, here are three teams that could make a move for Jones.
Minnesota Vikings
Jones briefly played under Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell, making him a solid fit for a team desperately needing better quarterback play. Whether Jones presents a marked improvement over Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz at this point of his career is unclear, though.
Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts is out for the season, leaving the Eagles with two underwhelming QB options in Joe Milton and Tanner McKee. If Philly still wants to make a playoff push, Jones could be a valuable rental as he's proven to be passable when paired with a solid defense and running game, although the Eagles' offensive line is reeling.
Atlanta Falcons
Michael Penix Jr. has been inconsistent while Tua Tagovailoa looks unplayable. So, perhaps Jones could provide some stability to an offense that has a clear run-first identity with Bijan Robinson.
