It was a night to forget for CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys. The wideout had just two catches on five targets for a paltry five yards as his team lost 24-16 to a hapless Tampa Bay Buccaneers team on Thursday Night Football, and then there's the news that Lamb was injured and standing on the sidelines in the fourth quarter.
What's the latest on his status? Here's what we know: Lamb was seen walking gingerly to the sidelines in the middle of the fourth quarter, and per ESPN's Todd Archer, it was that his quadriceps "tightened up after taking a hit for the second straight game."
He was questionable to return and was seen walking back to the locker room without needing help after the game.
CeeDee Lamb's quadriceps tightened up after taking a hit
for the second straight game, which is why he wasn't on the field at the end of the game. Tyler Guyton had a back injury. X-rays at the stadium were good, but he will get more examinations on Friday.

Will CeeDee Lamb miss more games with his quad injury?
No word on that just yet. The Cowboys' next game is on Oct. 18, which is a Sunday night contest in Green Bay, so he does have some extra time to heal.
