Lions players arrived to Sunday's Week 9 game against the Dolphins wearing No. 46 jerseys to honor their injured teammate Jack Campbell.
It turned out that the Lions linebacker had a message for his coaches and team even as he remained hospitalized.
Campbell suffered a neck injury while tackling Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson in Detroit's Week 8 win. He remained motionless on the field before leaving on a stretcher, but he did provide an encouraging update that he had regained movement in his lower body. Lions head coach Dan Campbell had an opportunity to visit the linebacker in the hospital this week.
He relayed Campbell's message to CBS:
"Just make sure the house is taken care of until I can get back."
"He is determined to get back on this football

It's unclear the full extent of Campbell's injury, but he is determined to return to football.
Let's hope he continues in his recovery, but at the very least, that's encouraging to hear from the fourth-year linebacker.
