The Buffalo Bills were cruising early in their Week 2 matchup against the Detroit Lions when disaster struck for Josh Allen's wide receiver group.
Late in the second quarter, with the Bills looking to take another three-touchdown lead over the Lions, wide receiver DJ Moore went down in the end zone after attempting to catch a pass. Moore went down low to try to snag Allen's pass, but the ball went through his hands and he landed hard on his left shoulder while the Lions defender rolled over top of him.
Moore stayed down on the field and immediately clutched his shoulder and neck area after the play was over. The 29-year-old receiver eventually sat up and walked off the field under his own power. In Week 1, Moore had five receptions for 100 yards
and one touchdown in the Bills' opening week win, but had no catches at the time of his injury in Week 2.

Ahead of halftime, the Bills announced that Moore was questionable to return to the game due to a shoulder injury and a stinger.

He was taken into the locker room for X-rays.
Given that the Bills were leading 27-7 late in the first half, Buffalo may end up resting Moore for the rest of the game regardless of his injury status.
