Monday night is an important evening for the Los Angeles Rams. After taking a Week 1 loss on the chin at the hands of the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers, the last thing the Super Bowl contender Rams can afford is a 0-2 start. No matter what it takes, they need to defeat the upstart New York Giants at home.
It's unclear if one of their best players, star receiver Puka Nacua, will be around to help get the Rams into the win column.
As he deals with a hip injury, Nacua is officially listed as questionable for Monday night's game with the Giants. Nacua did not practice on Friday or Saturday, with Sunday acting as an off day for the Rams. The receiver appeared to go through his own pregame warmup/test to see if he'll be healthy to go on Monday:

Needless to say, Nacua's absence would be a big blow to the Rams. He is their No. 1 receiver, after all. He is the straw that stirs the drink for Matthew Stafford and Co. The same could really be said for anyone who leans on Nacua in fantasy (which is a lot of people). With Nacua's game on Monday night, most people likely won't make a lineup pivot if he doesn't play because they won't have another option in another game available.
We'll see about Nacua's status in an early-season big game for the Rams soon enough.
Who is Puka Nacua's backup on the Rams?
Konata Mumpfield is listed as Nacua's backup on the Rams' official depth chart.
