As stellar as Trinity Rodman is on the soccer field, her ability to show support for her boyfriend, Ben Shelton, has to be a close second, or equally as impressive. Shelton, the world's No. 8 player, battled No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the 2026 U.S. Open on Tuesday night, and the match went well into the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Following the five-set thriller that featured two sets going to tiebreakers, Shelton emerged victorious to pull off the upset. What made the match even more incredible was that it went until around 3:40 a.m. ET, which is almost unfathomable. Obviously, all those in attendance were seriously dedicated to the match, and this, of course, included Rodman.
However, after the match ended in the wee
hours of the morning, it became clear just how impressive Rodman's dedication to supporting Shelton was, as she apparently had practice with her club soccer team, the NWSL's Washington Spirit. And considering Rodman made it to her morning practice, that's another tip of the cap.
She posted a mix of photos on TikTok, including one showing her at training and another that had the time "4:14 am" written on it.
@trinity.rodman Best of both worlds 😌

The fact that Rodman was on hand for the entire ride until the very early morning hours during one of the toughest matches of Shelton's career, and proceeded to potentially pull an all-nighter to get to work, is simply on a different level. Kudos to Rodman and Shelton for their impressive nights.
