There might be some good news for Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks. The defending Super Bowl champs saw their starting quarterback go 1-for-2 for 13 yards before a sack into the turf led him to leave the game against the New England Patriots and not return.
The issue? It was due to his hip, and there were worries that he had a fracture, although nothing was conclusive on Wednesday night.
What's the latest on Thursday morning? Multiple reports, including one from Ian Rapoport, indicate that there's "positive" news after a CT scan. Seahawks head coach had said there was no fracture of Darnold's hip, but there will be an MRI on Thursday to get a full assessment. So it's possible he avoided a serious injury, but we'll know more on Thursday.

As we mentioned, he took a Patriots sack and was seen limping off the field and didn't return to Thursday's Week 1 game against the Patriots.
Is Sam Darnold out for the season?
