A Nebraska volleyball player won another national award earlier in the week. Middle blocker Andi Jackson was named the AVCA National Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Jackson led the Huskers to wins against Missouri, Rutgers and Ohio State last week. She averaged 3.33 kills per set and 1.56 blocks per set in the three victories.

The middle blocker was one of three players nationally with at least 30 kills and 14 blocks last week. The senior is Nebraska’s first AVCA National Player of the Week since Rebekah Allick on Aug. 27, 2025.

Nebraska is currently the No. 1-ranked team in the nation with a 13-0 record. The Huskers return to action on Thursday, Oct. 1, on the road at Penn State.
