The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team (7-0) hosts the No. 20 Creighton Bluejays (5-4) on Wednesday night. This will be the 25th meeting all-time between these two schools, with Nebraska unbeaten 24-0 against Creighton.
Nebraska remained ranked No. 1 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll released on Sept. 14. It's the Huskers' 127th week all-time at No. 1 in the AVCA Coaches Poll, the most of any program in the nation.
Wednesday's game is the third time that Nebraska has played a volleyball match at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Huskers are 2-0 all-time at PBA after opening the 2025 season with wins against No. 3 Pitt and No. 6 Stanford at the AVCA First Serve.
Sophomore middle blocker Manaia Ogbechie was named the Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday. In
the three matches, Ogbechie totaled 33 kills while hitting .547 and adding 12 blocks.Creighton was unanimously favored to lead the BIG EAST in 2026. Last season, the Bluejays finished 16-0 in conference play and won their 12th straight BIG EAST regular-season title.
