Nebraska men's basketball hits the road for a neutral-site game with the Providence Friars. Tipoff at Mohegan Sun Arena is set for 6 p.m. CT and will air on FS1.
The Huskers opened the season on Monday night with a 106-64 win over Le Moyne. The Friars are also 1-0 after defeating Maine earlier in the week.
This is the first of four neutral-site games for Nebraska this season. The Huskers will also travel to Sioux Falls (vs. Boise State, Nov. 15), Chicago (vs. Butler, Nov. 22), and Kansas City, MO (vs. Missouri, Dec. 12).
Nebraska returns seven players from a team that went 28-7 last year before losing to Iowa in the Sweet 16. The Huskers were picked to finish fifth in the Big Ten Preseason Media Poll.
Nebraska is looking for its fourth straight
postseason appearance this season. It would be the program’s longest streak since a nine-year stretch between 1990-91 and 1998-99.
