For the second week in a row, Nebraska middle blocker Andi Jackson earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors. Jackson helped the Huskers to a 2-0 record, beating Penn State and Maryland.
Jackson has 23 kills and hit .526 while adding 12 blocks. She averaged 3.83 kills per set and 2.00 blocks per set.
The senior is the third Husker to win the honor in back-to-back weeks. She joins Madi Kubik in 2021 (Oct. 11, Oct. 18) and Kelsey Robinson in 2013 (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18).
Nebraska returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Indiana. The start time from Bloomington is 5:30 p.m. CT, and the game will air on the Big Ten Network.
