Another Husker earned Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday. Senior middle blocker Andi Jackson earned the title after a strong three-match stretch.

Jackson finished the week with 30 kills, a .578 attack percentage and 14 blocks. Her defensive play also helped the Huskers finish the weekend with a .048 hitting percentage.

Jackson started the week with 10 kills off 15 attacks and no errors and a season-high six blocks in Nebraska’s sweep over Missouri. She then hit a season-high 14 kills and a .632 attack percentage, adding four blocks in the sweep against Rutgers. Jackson then rounded out the weekend with six kills and four blocks in the sweep against Ohio State.

This is Jackson’s second career Big Ten Player of the Week selection and Nebraska’s

second of the season. Manaia Ogbechie received the honor earlier this month.
