Former Nebraska Cornhusker and Philadelphia Eagles center Cam Jurgens was traded to the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles traded Jurgens, along with a 2027 seventh-round pick, to the Ravens for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick.
Jurgens earned consecutive Pro Bowls in 2024 and 2025 with the Eagles. He also helped the team win Super Bowl LIX. He signed a four-year $16 million contract extension with Philadelphia following the 2025 season.
Injuries to the Eagles' offensive line this season forced Jurgens to play left guard instead of his traditional center position. The Nebraska native was with the Huskers from 2018-2021.
Now, he will be blocking for the likes of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. His toughness
and play style should fit right in with the rest of the AFC North.
