Nebraska volleyball returns to action on Friday night by hosting the Baylor Bears. The Huskers are coming off a sweep of New Mexico on Thursday night.
Nebraska is undefeated all-time against Baylor, with a 32-0 record. In their last meeting, the Huskers swept the Bears in 2021.
The Huskers were voted the favorite in the 2026 Big Ten Preseason Poll after a vote by the league’s 18 head coaches in July. The team is led by setter Bergen Reilly, who averages 10.70 assists and 2.10 digs per set.
Nebraska was ranked No. 1 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll released on Sept. 7. It marks the Huskers' 126th week all-time at No. 1 in the AVCA Coaches Poll, the most of any program in the nation.
The Huskers have been one of the most dominant home teams in the entire
country over the last several seasons. Nebraska has won 48 regular-season home matches in a row at the Bob Devaney SportsCenter, going back to the start of the 2023 season.
