Nebraska football will host a class of 2028 defensive lineman this fall. Jeremiah McCall will be visiting Lincoln on October 10 when the Huskers host Indiana.
McCall originally received an offer from Nebraska on June 20. He is the 61st overall player at his position and the 14th overall player in his class from the state of Michigan, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
He has offers on the table from the likes of Iowa, Kansas, Washington, Southern Mississippi, and Kent State. So far, the Huskers are the only visit on his schedule. McCall measures in at six-foot-three, 245 pounds.
The Huskers have made a concerted effort to try and beef up the defensive line. They have been extending offers to several defensive players in this class and are
looking to get a jump on things early. This is particularly true as far as the defensive line position is concerned.
The Huskers appear to be in the mix for this recruitment, and they are getting in on it early. This will certainly be one to watch, as the program tries to rebuild the defensive line.
