Nebraska soccer (3-3-6) faced down its fifth-straight ranked Big Ten foe on Sunday afternoon, No. 20 Wisconsin (7-2-3). The Huskers managed another home draw, ending the day with a 0-0 tie against the Badgers.
Wisconsin pressured both sides throughout the match, outshooting Nebraska 21-10 overall and 6-3 on goal. The Badgers especially brought it in the second half, totaling 13 shots with five on goal. However, Avery Gillahan faced down all six shots on goal and earned six saves, recording her fourth shutout of the season.
Carson Bohonek, Kayma Carpenter, Nathalie Lewis, and Ava Makovicka all tallied two shots for Nebraska in the tie. Bohonek, Lewis and Makovicka also each picked up a shot on goal for the Huskers.
The Huskers travel east for their
next two matches, starting with a Thursday night showdown at Maryland. The match is set for 6 p.m. CT on B1G+.
