The US LBM Coaches Poll released its rankings following Week 3 of the college football season. Nebraska received multiple votes but remains outside the top 25.
The Huskers received 11 votes, landing between Western Michigan (17) and North Dakota State (8). Texas remained No. 1, and No. 4 Indiana is the highest-ranked Big Ten team.
Nebraska defeated North Dakota Saturday evening, 34-7. This is the third straight season that Nebraska has gone undefeated in nonconference play.
Nebraska had 493 yards of total offense, rushing for 277 yards and throwing for 216. This was the third straight game that Nebraska has topped 200 yards in both categories.
Nebraska's defense held North Dakota to 205 total yards and 1-of-12 on 3rd down. The Hawks finished with
106 passing yards and 99 rushing yards.
With the victory, Nebraska improved to 3-0 all-time against North Dakota and 17-0 all-time against FCS opponents.
