Nebraska football defeated Bowling Green by a 56-7 margin on Saturday night. Nebraska led 35-0 at halftime and never relented, picking up their second win of the season.
Nebraska jumped out early, scoring 14 points in the first quarter. After an early interception from quarterback Anthony Colandrea, he settled down and made a major impact. He would finish the game with 222 passing yards on 20-of-24 passing, throwing for four touchdowns and an interception.
Other contributions included 88 yards from running back Jamaal Rule and 115 receiving yards from wide receiver Jacory Barney. Overall, it was a solid effort on both sides of the football as the Huskers took care of business on Saturday night.
