Nebraska men’s basketball alum Rienk Mast had a tremendous preseason game for the Indiana Pacers. He recorded nine points and seven rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Mast went undrafted in the 2026 NBA draft. The Pacers assigned him to an Exhibit 10 contract, and he immediately made an impact. He made his summer league debut in July, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Cavaliers.
The playmaker is expected to continue his pro career with the Pacers G League affiliate, the Noblesville Boom. This scoring ability, along with his prowess on the boards, were two assets of his game during his Huskers tenure.
He has gone from an undrafted player to a potential key part of the Pacers' future. As for now, he is making his minutes
count.
